News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Rich Von Ohlen says it will be another frigid day Tuesday for the Hudson Valley before a chance of a wintry mix Wednesday.
Tuesday will start off partly to mostly sunny with temperatures only reaching into the upper-30s.
Wednesday will be cloudy with a chance of a midday light wintry mix as temperatures reach the mid-40s.
Cloudy skies and rain showers are in Thursday's forecast, but the temperatures will be much warmer in the mid-60s.
Friday will see mostly cloudy skies with occasional showers as temperatures reach the low-60s.
NEXT: Cold start... dry, partly sunny Tuesday.. not a harsh.. Cloudy with a light mix Wednesday as a warm front moves through.
FORECAST:
TUESDAY: BITTER BLAST (AM) ... Switch to WEATHER TO WATCH (PM) – Partly to mostly sunny and a very cold start just like today. The afternoon will be slightly less harsh than today, but still quite chilly. Highs around 39. Lows around 24.
WEDNESDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH -- Cloudy with a midday light wintry mix possible. Highs around 45. Lows around 36.
THURSDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH -- Cloudy with rain showers - steadiest towards evening and overnight. Much warmer! Highs around 65. Lows around 50.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with occasional showers. Highs around 60. Lows near 37.
SATURDAY: Mainly sunny and windy with highs around 54. Lows around 38.
SUNDAY: Sun and clouds with highs around 56. Lows around 37.
