Presidential hopeful and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders rallied in front of his childhood home in Brooklyn on Friday.
Sanders was greeted with cheers from dozens of supporters in the Midwood neighborhood.
The candidate graduated from James Madison High School, where he was class president.
The campaign stop comes less than two weeks before the crucial New York primary. The other presidential candidates have made campaign stops in New York as well.
Sanders also announced today that he will be traveling to the Vatican on April 15, just days before the New York primary.
