The Westchester Bee-Line bus commute is now a little more expensive.
The bus service is a part of the MTA's MetroCard system, which just raised prices last weekend.
A single ride, cash or Metrocard fare on a Bee-Lee bus went up from $2.50 to $2.75.
Seniors and the disabled also saw a slight price increase, with their ticket to ride going from $1.25 to $1.35
The only Bee-Line bus route that will not see a price hike is the Westchester-Manhattan express. That fare will remain the same at $7.50.
Justine Diaz, a student who relies on the local buses to get around, says the nearly 4 percent increase on her daily ride is a hardship.
"I definitely feel that strain because it's not like they offer any student discounts," she says.
