Detectives arrested a suspect in connection to a stabbing that occurred in New Rochelle on Friday morning.

Authorities say an officer saw a victim walking while suffering from a stab wound near the intersection of Division Street and Westchester Place at around 11 a.m.

The victim was transported to a hospital, where authorities say they remain in critical but stable condition.

During the investigation, police discovered that the victim had been stabbed during a physical dispute with a coworker.

New Rochelle detectives say they were able to locate suspect, 30-year-old Taajwar Guerrier, and arrested him. He faces multiple charges, including assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
