Authorities say a Rockland man is facing federal charges for distributing fentanyl that resulted in six overdoses, including two deaths.
The U.S. Attorney's Office announced the indictment of 25-year-old Justin Turnick, of Congers.
The overdoses occurred between February 2020 and April 2022.
Authorities allege that Turnick personally observed four of the six overdoses.
The victims were between the ages of 19 and 24.
Rockland County reported 70 overdose deaths from fentanyl in 2021.
