At least 10 displaced by two-alarm fire in Bridgeport
No injuries have been reported.

The American Red Cross says it is assisting ten people who were displaced by a fire late Sunday night on the 190 block of Lincoln Ave.
The Bridgeport Fire Department says it responded at approximated 10:05 p.m., and needed a second-alarm to get the fire under control.
"I open the door, the front door, I see there's a whole big sirens, I look up, I see the big burst of flames, I'm like...'please tell me everybody's safe,'" said Mauricio Prates, who lives across the street.
Officials tell News 12 the fire was on the third story of the building, and that when crews got there, one resident had climbed out of a window on that story, and was standing on the second floor roof.
"Ladder company ten had him out in about 45 seconds upon our arrival, they had the ladder up and out," said Assistant Chief Andrew Ellis from the Bridgeport Fire Department.
From there, Ellis says it took about 20 minutes to knock down the flames.
"It was heavy smoke conditions out upon our arrival, it was obscuring our vision out here, our sightline," Ellis explained. "The guys did a good job though and they worked around that."
While that person who was rescued from the roof was taken to the hospital for evaluation, no injuries have been reported, and Ellis says everybody else in the house got out quickly.
"Obviously they were devastated they had a fire at their home, but a lot of their possessions, because of the fact the fire was extinguished pretty rapidly, are going to be ok," he said.
The building is a different story though - Ellis says it is "uninhabitable."
"(The) kitchen's damaged, windows are damaged, there's water all over the basement," said Lucio Valente, the building's owner, who was stopping by before getting in contact with his insurance company.
According to the Red Cross, there are eight adults and two children from the house who they are helping find a place to stay.
"I see the people crying," said Prates of the scene outside the house. "Some other family friends were trying to comfort the family friends I know from the first floor - we'll support you no matter what, help you get through this toughness."
Back in October, the house just five buildings down from this one on Lincoln also caught on fire, forcing at least ten other people out of their home.
"I was like no, not again," said Prates. "And then I was praying none of this would happen."
The cause of Sunday's fire is being investigated by the Fire Marshal’s office.
