Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino hosted a conference call last night to help inform taxpayers about his 2012 proposed spending plan.
In the first half hour of his conference call, close to 20,000 people from across the county were listening in, hoping to learn more about the 2012 proposed budget and ask the county executive a question of their own.
Astorino's plan calls for $100 million in savings and no tax increase.
The county board is holding a public hearing today in Somers and legislators plan to make changes to the proposal before the Dec. 27 vote. Astorino has the option of vetoing their budget.
