New York Yankees' president Randy Levine spoke in a meeting Friday to address concerns over the team's new stadium, the direct benefits of which many Bronx-dwellers question.

The meeting took a mean tone, as Levine showed open disgust toward the Assembly's scrutiny of the Yankees. Assembly members countered with questions about where the new jobs are going.

"It's impossible to verify how Bronx residents are benefiting from the new Yankee Stadium project as the city failed to incorporate any checks and balances in key areas such as jobs and park replacement," said Bettina Damiani, head of Good Jobs New York.

The Parks Department, meanwhile, said it has six new parks planned, and two are already in construction: Macombs Park and Harlem River Waterfront Park. Others include River Avenue Park and P.S. 29 Ball Field.
