Police have made an arrest in a Yorktown bank robbery.
Investigators say Kerry Vanterpool, 25, of the Bronx, was one of two men who robbed the Putnam County Savings Bank on Lee Road in September. They say the two men took several bags from the bank, but didn't say how much was stolen.
Vanterpool was arrested at the Dutchess County Jail, where he was being held for his involvement in another bank robbery in LaGrange.
The search for the second man is ongoing.
