Arrest made in Bronx crash that killed Rockland County teen and Brooklyn man

The NYPD says it has charged Enrique Lopez for his involvement as the driver in the crash that resulted in the death of 15-year-old Sabrina Villa-Gomez-Gonzalez, from Nanuet, and 21-year-old Gilvante Roberson.

An arrest has been made in the Bronx crash that killed a teenage girl from Rockland County and a man from Brooklyn.
The NYPD says it has charged Enrique Lopez for his involvement as the driver in the crash that resulted in the death of 15-year-old Sabrina Villa-Gomez-Gonzalez, from Nanuet, and 21-year-old Gilvante Roberson.
Police reports say the driver, aged 23, lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a parked oil tanker truck.
Lopez now faces multiple charges, including manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide and endangering the welfare of a child.
Villa-Gomez-Gonzalez’s friend, 17-year-old Aaliyah Torres, was also in the car during the accident and remains in critical condition at St. Barnabas Hospital.
Funeral services for Villa-Gomez-Gonzalez were being held today at St. Joseph's Church in Spring Valley.
