A man armed with a gun held up a gas station in Greenburgh last night.
Police say the robbery happened around 10:45 p.m. at the 24-hour Shell station on Dobbs Ferry Road between Hartsdale Road and Route 100A.
The station attendant tells News 12 the suspect came in, pretended he was going to buy a pack of gum, then pulled out the handgun. "He brought the gun out, and then I opened the register and I gave him the money and he took all the bills," says attendant Timothe Atedzi.
The suspect grabbed $200 in cash, and then took off on foot and was last seen running south on Hartsdale Road. He's described as a white male in his 30s, about 6 feet tall, wearing all dark clothes and a dark hat.
Atedzi says the station was robbed at gunpoint just a few weeks ago, but he says it doesn't appear to be the same guy.
No one was injured in the robbery.
