An Arizona man was arrested and charged with manslaughter for allegedly assisting in a suicide in Ulster County.

Stephen Miller is facing several felonies following an investigation into an alleged suicide in a hotel room at the Washington Avenue Super 8 in Kingston.

Authorities say an unconscious and unresponsive person was reported at the hotel on Nov. 9, 2023.

Officials say a second person was in the room at the time of the death.

News 12 was told that Miller, 85, has been remanded to the Ulster County Jail.
