4ds agoThe Aquarion Water Company announced on Monday that they will be selling upcycled rain barrels.
Company officials said It's part of an ongoing water conservation effort.
They're available for Fairfield residents.
The barrels are designed to catch rainwater from the roof via a downspout. Each barrel costs $85 and holds 60 gallons.
Officials said orders must be received by May 1. Pickup will be on Saturday, May 11 at Fairfield Regional Fire School, located at 205 Richard White Way, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
