Anti-war protesters took to the streets of White Plains Sunday to rally against the continuing presence of U.S. troops in Iraq. The protesters stood in front Congresswoman Nita Lowey?s (D-Harrison) office, urging her to vote to cut funding for the Iraq war. Lowey defends her record, saying she can?t vote to pull out. She says it?s important to protect the soldiers overseas and make sure they have sufficient resources. In the past week, close to 4,000 U.S. troops have been redeployed to Baghdad because of the worsening security situation in and around the city.
