Classes at Mamaroneck High School were disrupted Wednesday due to a threatening message found written on a wall in the building.
Officials decided to evacuate the school?s 1,500 students around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday after a message warning of a bomb was found scrawled inside the boy?s bathroom. The students waited outside for about two hours while Mamaroneck police and the Westchester County Bomb Squad investigated.
Nothing dangerous was found inside the school and students were let back into classes. On Monday, classes were canceled because a similar message was found before school began. Police don?t know if the incidents are related, but they say whoever is involved will face serious felony charges.
