The Yonkers Memorial Day Parade was held Wednesday night on McLean Avenue.

The parade has been held every year on May 30 since 1942.

The ceremony before the parade began at Stillwell Park.

The American Legion Post 1122 has run the parade for about 80 years.  It was asked a few years ago to switch the parade to the now recognized national holiday on Monday, but it said no.
