Stories and coverage from News 12 New York and Cheddar are now available on Amazon's news app.

Amazon's app is a free and customizable news aggregator built into Fire TV streaming devices and smart TVs.

“There are so many important issues that have driven the news industry this year; and we believe in providing free access to local and national news for all,” Amazon Entertainment Devices and Services Vice President Marc Whitten said in a statement. “Adding access to local news is the next step in our commitment to helping our customers stay informed. We’ve been blown away by the popularity of Amazon’s news app and view local news as the next critical piece for our customers.”
