An alleged drunk driver is accused of crashing into multiple parked vehicles in the City of Newburgh Friday night.
News 12 was sent viewer images from the scene on Broadway showing several vehicles with significant damages, a large crowd of onlookers and the driver taking a field sobriety test.
State police say 49-year-old Luis Laureano, of Newburgh, crashed his 2021 Mazda into a total of seven parked vehicles, just before 8 p.m.
They say he stayed on the scene and failed a field sobriety test.
Laureano was charged with DWI and issued multiple traffic tickets, according to police, who say Laureano wasn’t injured. Authorities say no other injuries were reported.
