A Mount Vernon mother says her autistic daughter was left stranded on a school bus for seven hours.
Alicia Frith-Mantock told News 12 that she went to pick up her 7-year-old daughter, Shanicia, from a special needs day camp, located at Longfellow Middle School. When she got to the camp, teachers told her the girl was never dropped off.
"It was the most terrified I've ever been," she says.
Frith says that her daughter was reportedly found alone in a Yonkers bus yard, still on the Royal Coach bus that picked her up in the morning.
The Royal Coach Bus Company says it is investigating the incident.
