A gas pipeline company will pay Yorktown $1 million as compensation for the three-month closure of Woodlands Legacy Fields.
The park was closed from a sinkhole found on Christmas Eve.
It reopened on April 1.
Algonquin Gas Transmission's pipeline's right-of-way is in the park.
Company officials are scheduled to attend a town board meeting next week to report on their response.
