A Yonkers man pleaded guilty to hurling a chunk of concrete off an overpass on the Sprain Brook Parkway, killing a woman.
The man responsible for the crime, 27-year-old Alberto Plasencia, was arrested last year after a nine-year investigation.
In April 2004, Plasencia threw a 10-inch long piece of asphalt off the Kimball Avenue Bridge and it struck a car on the parkway below. Driver Marie McSweeney, 48, was killed.
Plasencia, who pleaded guilty to manslaughter, faces up to 15 years in prison. He will be sentenced in August.
