Albert Leonard School bus driver under scrutiny after walking away from bus full of kids

10h agoA bus driver at Albert Leonard School is in hot water after walking away from a bus full of children.
The school district said in an email sent to parents that the bus driver became overwhelmed during the afternoon bus route, stopped the bus and walked away.
They say it was in clear violation of protocol and the bus company is addressing the situation with the driver.
A security monitor was on the bus and stayed with the children during the incident.
The assistant principal and three additional security monitors were able to get the children home safely.
