It's time to re-enroll for those who currently receive health care under the Affordable Care Act.
Starting today, millions of Americans have the chance to choose their health care coverage plans.
This is the second year that the plans have been available.
The government is hoping for smooth sailing. Officials say no glitches are expected with the Healthcare.gov website after last year's problems.
The Obama administration says the website was tested over a period of five weeks. The website application process has also been reduced from 76 different screens to 16.
Consumers that are re-enrolling in a plan will find that much of their information carries over and they will not have to re-enter it again.
In a new feature this year, consumers were given a sneak preview of plans in their area, allowing them to compare estimated premiums, deductibles and maximum out-of-pocket payments.
News 12 is told that many people can expect an increase in the cost of coverage this year.
The health care enrollment period runs through Feb. 15.
