The final chapter in the murder of Peggy Nadell is expected to play out in a Rockland County courtroom on Friday.
Tanisha Joyner and Eltia Grant, who helped cover up Diana Nadell's involvement in the killing, are expected to be sentenced Friday.
On Jan. 25, 2014, the 80-year-old community activist was found stabbed and bludgeoned to death in her Valley Cottage home.
Her daughter-in-law, Diana Nadell, apparently wanted Peggy out of the way so that she could have access to her $4 million estate.
While neither woman took part in what happened on the night Peggy Nadell died, they were charged because they provided help in Diana Nadell's plan to kill her mother-in-law.
Diana Nadell pleaded guilty to beating Peggy Nadell and stabbing her numerous times with a kitchen knife. She is serving 23 years to life in prison.
Andrea Benson, who was with Diana Nadell on the night Peggy Nadell died, is serving 20 years to life in prison.
Some believe Joyner and Grant will be sentenced to time served.
