Fire officials say the flames broke out Saturday night at the former Pines Hotel in the Town of Fallsburg.
More than 30 agencies from Sullivan and Ulster counties assisted in taking down the fire.
After about six hours - it was finally contained.
One person was injured.
The Pines Hotel has been closed and abandoned for over 20 years.
