Today is a chilly day with increasing clouds ahead of a few brief light showers around 6-9 p.m.

Thursday will start cloudy with a few spotty light showers before the sky brightens a little in the afternoon with highs around 70 degrees. There will be a few more scattered showers tomorrow evening into early Friday.

Most of Friday looks fine now with some breaks of sun developing in the afternoon and highs around 65 degrees. If you are attending the Mets home opener in the afternoon on Friday, the game should have some nice weather overall!

Plan on it not being a great outdoor weekend unfortunately! Periods of light rain will be around on Saturday. Sunday looks drier, but not great with a couple of showers throughout the day.

THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy with a few spotty showers possible. Most of the daylight hours will be more dry than wet with a few breaks of sun in the afternoon allowing temperatures to spike to near 70 degrees. More spotty showers cannot be ruled out in the evening or overnight along with a rumble of thunder. Lows near 54 degrees.

FRIDAY: A few early showers. Clouds then break for some sun. Highs around 65 degrees. Lows near 45 degrees.

SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy with periods of light rain. Highs around 52 degrees. Lows near 43 degrees.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy with a few spotty light rain showers possible along with breaks of sun. Highs around 60 degrees. Lows near 44 degrees.

MONDAY: Early showers give way to sunshine. Highs around 56 degrees. Lows near 34 degrees.
