93-year-old wife dies after 97-year-old husband crashes into tree

Police say the driver was leaving the DeCicco's Supermarket parking lot when he lost control of his car and struck a tree near the village library on American Legion Drive.

A woman is dead, and her husband is fighting for his life after a car crash in Ardsley.
Police say on Saturday morning, a 97-year-old man was leaving the DeCicco's Supermarket parking lot when he lost control of his car and struck a tree near the village library on American Legion Drive.
His 93-year-old wife, who was riding in the passenger seat, was pronounced dead at Westchester Medical Center. The driver is also hospitalized at the medical center.
Their names have not yet been released.
