A pair of quick thinking boat captains rescued nine people from a sinking boat in the Mamaroneck Harbor on Wednesday.
Witnesses say the boat went under around 4:30 p.m.
Captain Brian Cea, of Mamaroneck-based Sea Tow Western Long Island Sound, says he and fellow Captain Ken Cavanagh rushed to the vessel and pulled nine people out of the water. Cea says they had an ambulance waiting onshore to treat the victims for hypothermia.
There is no word yet on why the boat suddenly started to take on water.
