Eight hospitals across Westchester and Rockland counties will receive nearly $265.8 million in funding.
Rep. Nita Lowey (D) announced Monday that the money is going toward essential expenses for treating coronavirus patients.
Officials say this funding is part of the more than $5 billion previously announced for 90 New York hospitals in COVID-19 high-impact areas.
The eight hospitals are White Plains, Montefiore Nyack, Westchester Medical Center, Good Samaritan, Phelps, Northern Westchester, Burke Rehabilitation, and New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital.
