Cassidy Kline, a seven-year-old cancer survivor, is donating over 5,000 toys to local hospitals and the Ronald McDonald House.

The effort is facilitated by Stop & Shop, accompanied by a $2,000 donation.

Cassidy, in remission from a rare muscle and soft tissue cancer, served as one of the ambassadors for Stop & Shop's Help Cure Childhood Cancer campaign, which has raised over $26 million since 2001.
