Several workers are facing criminal charges for operating illegal massage parlors in Mamaroneck.
On Wednesday, Mamaroneck police arrested two people who worked at Acupuncture Spa on Mamaroneck Avenue--Xian Yun and Juan Wang--on charges of performing massages without a license.
The next day, Shuxian Zhang and Shangying Li were also arrested while working at another salon on East Boston Post Road. Later that day, Bozuo Zhang and Qingwei Geng were taken into custody down the street at One Depot Plaza- all on charges of performing unlicensed massage.
A local resident said he heard of another nearby salon that provides "whatever services you want."
In an unrelated bust, police arrested Bronx resident Yvette Anderson for practicing prostitution out of a nearby hotel based on an advertisement on the popular Web site Craigslist.
All seven arrested have been released and are due back in Village of Mamaroneck court June 19th.
