An annual walk to help heal those affected by terrorism and mass violence in the country took place this morning in Scarsdale.
The sixth annual Friends of Peter Alderman Walk raises funds for the Peter C. Alderman Foundation. Peter Alderman lost his life at only 25 years old in the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11.
Over 150 people participated in the 1.5-mile walk that started at Scarsdale Village Hall and ended at Fox Meadow Elementary School, where Alderman once attended school.
So far, the walk has raised over $120,000 for the foundation.
