A northern Westchester shopping center is hoping to bring in more stores and jobs to the area after a multimillion-dollar renovation project.
The $60 million expansion of the Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown will feature new retailers and a revamped food court. The shuttered movie theater will also be replaced by a Dick's Sporting Goods, scheduled to open in the fall.
Additionally, the mall will include a new entrance off of Route 6.
The renovation project is expected to be completed sometime next year.
