Numerous people were injured in a six-car pileup on the Saw Mill River Parkway yesterday.
Police say there were actually two separate crashes just after 5 p.m. on the parkway, just north of Hearst Street.
While some people had to be taken to the hospital, none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
One witness tells News 12 the scene was terrifying. "When I saw the white van coming and hitting us, I was so scared that nothing was going to happen to us, I was concerned about my daughter who was driving and my grandson behind her," says Betty Mouhamed.
Westchester County Police say none of the drivers have been charged, but the investigation is ongoing.
