Drivers along a portion of the Bronx River Parkway experienced some major delays Saturday after several cars collided off Midland Avenue.
Five vehicles were involved in the crash which occurred around 2 p.m. and shut down traffic on the Bronx River Parkway in both directions.
The vehicles were traveling in the southbound lane when one crash set off a chain reaction collision.
News 12 crews saw at least two drivers taken to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still trying to determine what caused the crash.
