Five students from Byram Hills High School in Armonk are semifinalists in the prestigious Intel Science Talent Search.
Seniors Lyndsay Siegle, Dominick Rowan, Sarag Teng, Sela Berenblum and Kevin Chang have been working with mentors on their projects for more than two years.
Their projects range from the discovery of an exoplanet to cancer drug research.
Later this month, the students will find out if they made it to the finals. If they do, they will compete against 40 others for cash prizes totaling more than $1 million.
