AAA says today is a good day to hit the roads while you might want to avoid the day before Thanksgiving in the late afternoon.
“INRX has done
some analysis of traffic patterns using anonymous gas data and they are saying
the day before Thanksgiving from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. is going to be hammer time. My
best advice for many years now has been go home Wednesday, get a good night’s
sleep, wake up extra early 4 a.m. or 5 a.m. and hit the road then on Thanksgiving Day itself," says Robert Sinclair, of AAA Northeast.
