45-year member of Harrison fire department passes away

The Harrison Fire Department announced on Facebook that is with “great sadness we announce the passing of Fire Fighter Albert Mazzullo. Albert served The Harrison Fire Department and Engine and Hose company for 45 years as a Fire Fighter and Department Warden.”

A longtime firefighter from Harrison has passed away.
The Harrison Fire Department announced on Facebook that is with “great sadness we announce the passing of Fire Fighter Albert Mazzullo. Albert served The Harrison Fire Department and Engine and Hose company for 45 years as a Fire Fighter and Department Warden.”
Mazzullo was known for his work with Harrison's Sanitation Department and the high school football team.
News 12 is told he was a fixture in the community and everyone knew him, but more lovingly and informally, as "Big Al."
There are dozens of comments flooding in on the Facebook post, with many saying he was a bright spot in their lives - welcoming, friendly, and someone they'll surely miss.
