Officials from Westchester Medical Center have provided an update on the victims of the gas explosion that demolished a multifamily home in Wappingers Falls, injuring 15 people.

Three of the victims remain in critical condition.

Over the weekend, the fire department continued to respond to minor rekindles at the explosion site.

According to Fire Chief Jason Enson, these incidents entail small amounts of smoke emanating from the pile of debris, which requires approximately ten to 15 minutes to extinguish.
