Three students were arrested Friday after a fight eventually involving dozens of students broke out at Hawthorne Cedar Knolls, according to police.
Hawthorne Cedar Knolls is a treatment center for students in crisis.
Police say the three students were charged with rioting and inciting a riot, and one of them faces an additional charge of felony criminal mischief for smashing the window of a fire door.
Mount Pleasant residents say they are fed up with the problems brought about by the treatment center and nearby Cottage School. Some add that they have seen kids leave the campus and cause damage to their cars and property.
Residents say they see police and fire department members going back and forth to the center on a daily basis. On Monday, they will meet to further discuss the center.
