Police have identified 48-year-old Nabil Kartah as the suspect in seven thefts across New York City, including several inside mosques. Investigators say Kartah posed as a worshipper before stealing wallets and credit cards from unattended jackets and bags.

The incidents include two thefts in Brooklyn and one near the Grand Concourse in the Bronx, where stolen cards were allegedly used to make about $4,400 in unauthorized purchases. Police estimate the total losses across all seven cases at nearly $20,000.
