‘Nothing more than a monster.’ Man sentenced to 10 years for sexually abusing child

A 39-year-old man was injured in a Mott Haven slashing late Wednesday night.

The slashing happened near E 149th St. and Grand Concourse at 10:30 p.m.

Police say a 39-year-old man was slashed in the neck. The man transported himself to Lincoln Hospital and is expected to be OK.

There are no arrests and an investigation is ongoing.
