Chip’s Family Restaurant will celebrate its 60th anniversary Monday with throwback pricing at its Fairfield and Orange locations.

The restaurants will offer 1966 prices from 7 to 11 a.m. Monday. Deals include three original buttermilk pancakes for 85 cents and 15-cent coffee for dine-in guests, limited to one order per guest.

For six decades, generations of Connecticut families have gathered at Chip’s to celebrate birthdays, enjoy weekend breakfasts, catch up with friends, and build lasting traditions.

Now, one of Connecticut’s longest-running independent family restaurants is thanking the community that made those memories possible. Chip’s started in Orange and expanded to its Fairfield location in 2011.

Monday also includes:

  • Family activities and children's entertainment

  • Limited-edition anniversary giveaways

  • Vintage cars from the 1960s at the Orange location

  • Vintage Chip's memorabilia

  • Historic photo displays spanning six decades

  • Anniversary surprises throughout the day
