A retired Yonkers fire captain is accused of possessing child sexual abuse material.

The Westchester County district attorney said 57-year-old Scott Denet, of Shrub Oak, was arraigned on two felony charges.

He previously worked for the Yonkers Fire Department.

Prosecutors allege he shared a photo and possessed a video depicting a minor.

Officials said the alleged incidents occurred in 2023, after Denet retired.

He was released and is due back in court next month.
