In recent weeks, the TEDxCUNY volunteers, team members, and sponsors have hosted pop-ups across several CUNY campuses to encourage students to attend the conference at no cost.

On Tuesday, Brooklyn College hosted a pop-up featuring Raising Cane's, The FRIENDS Experience, and TEDxCUNY volunteers and team members.

Each conference has a unique and thought-provoking theme, fostering discussion and deepening the understanding of oneself and the world around them. Through hand-picked speakers, performances, and workshops, the conference exposes participants to new ways of thinking.

This year's theme is Playback, encouraging discussion based on how we can better understand the future by analyzing the past.

With workshops spanning a variety of backgrounds and interests, CUNY students, faculty, staff and anyone interested, can spend their day reflecting, making connections, and learning more about the people they share their everyday spaces with.

To join the TEDxCUNY team or volunteer, you must attend a CUNY school and be selected through their application process.
