A July tradition is back for another year at the Kensico Dam Plaza. That's where the Music Fest & Fireworks show took place Thursday night.
Thousands of people come out each year, and it has turned into a tradition for many in the Hudson Valley and beyond.
"It's kind of a neighborhood thing. The fireworks are really good and the music, I think everybody wants a fourth of July thing and this is ours," says Armonk resident, Bill Potvin.
On top of the fireworks, there's music and food.
"I love the big crowd, I love the excitement around it," says Kyle Peterson with Westchester County Parks.
Even some occasional rain showers Thursday didn't put a damper on things.
"It happens, what can you do? Enjoy it," says Malik, from Mount Pleasant.
