A new affordable senior housing is coming to Ossining.

Builders have broken ground on Crescent Manor, a 73-unit apartment complex on Croton Avenue.

The development is open to individuals and couples aged 62 and older.

It will include free parking and utilities, according to developers.

"We're going to be bringing a freshness to the community for seniors to be able to connect to the community but also to age in place, which is super super important," said Rella Fogliano, president and CEO of MacQuesten Development.

Crescent Manor is expected to open in two years.
