Police say a man allegedly issued a bad check and has not repaid his loan to a Mahopac business.

The Mahopac business owner attempted to collect more than $8,600 from Michael Salzman for services he provided.

The owner also tried to collect an additional $5,000 for a personal loan made to the 49-year-old.

Police say Salzman was charged with grand larceny and issuing a bad check.
