A person who was inside a Yonkers home when a fire broke out was able to get out safely Thursday.
It happened at the corner of Ashburton Avenue and Jones Place, where the fire was sparked on the top floor.
Fire crews say the inside of the building sustained damage, but it's believed families will be able to return home.
