Owner Johanny Bonilla says Dominican hair salons in the Bronx are a necessity.
Bonilla tells News 12 her salon and others cater to their client's hair by offering deep-condition treatments, traditional roller sets and to top it all off with a blowout. Bonilla says it takes technique and skill to do a Dominican- style blowout but for her, all it takes is passion.
One resident says she goes to the salon every week to keep up with her hair because its important to take care of it by professional Dominican stylists.
